STRIP DISTRICT - NEOSTEM is a rock band from Pittsburgh, PA, with a variety of musical influences coming together to make the music that you all know as Neostem. NEOSTEM have shared the stage with Them Evils, Sponge, New Years Day and Kaleido and many more. They play the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas on a regular basis.

The Altered Egos
NORTH SIDE - Band leader Eric Hodos is a 6 time finisher of the Pittsburgh Marathon (PR 2:47 in 2003) and from 2009 to 2018 led the UPMC bike marshals prior to moving to NYC. Returning in 2021, he and his daughter Ann formed The Altered Egos with musician friends in the fall of 2021. The Altered Egos performs popular rock from the 70s to current music as well as originals. Being a veteran marathoner who always enjoyed bands on the route, the band will be performing fun, up tempo favorites for the runners and spectators alike.

NORTH SIDE - Just JJ - Acoustic plays a wide variety of classic songs to popular hits of today. This one-man acoustic style show who sounds like a full-band, is very versatile and designed for most clubs, bars, restaurants, fairs, festivals, etc. Always professional while continuously evolving, utilizing technology, professional sound gear and lighting, Just JJ – Acoustic is truly one of the best, stand-alone acts you can see.

Better Think Twice
UPTOWN - Better Think Twice are a rock band from New Brighton, PA that play a variety of covers and original music. Their covers range mostly anywhere from the 60s through the 90s. They have performed in the Pittsburgh Marathon multiple times and love being part of the event!

The Optimists
SHADYSIDE - The Optimists formed in 2011 when singer-songwriters John Young and Steve Morrison revived their longtime collaboration and recruited bassist Rick Gercak and drummer Dave Klug. In 2017 Klug departed and the band welcomed new drummer Tyler Kweder. The band's sound has been described as “roots pop”: melodic rock with big guitars and a hook. They've performed at venues around Pittsburgh and opened for some of their musical heroes, including Cory Branan, Jimmer Podrasky of the Rave-Ups, and the late Tommy Keene.

STRIP DISTRICT - A local church in the heart of the city that closes down on marathon Sunday to go out and cheer on the runners. North Way Christian Community wants to be involved in their community and support where ever they can. In the past, they have had a cheer station with music and oranges.
