2026 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Hall of Fame Class
The DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon and the Hall of Fame Committee will be inducting Lisa Bonaccorsi Lucas, Dan Cunkelman, Robert Pikelis, and Ed Stack as its 18th class of inductees to the Pittsburgh Marathon Hall of Fame.
This induction ceremony will take place during the 2026 DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events on Saturday, May 2.
LISA BONACCORSI LUCAS
Lisa Bonaccorsi Lucas is a seasoned Pittsburgh-area distance runner known for her strength, versatility, and competitive excellence across distances from 10K to the marathon. A proud member of the region’s running community, she has claimed multiple female masters titles at some of Pittsburgh’s most iconic races, including the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler (1:03:18), the Pittsburgh Great Race 10K (35:41), and the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon (3:04:09). Lisa brings personality, consistency, and hometown pride to every start line, continually pursuing personal excellence in the sport she loves.
DAN CUNKELMAN
Dan Cunkleman is a standout Pittsburgh distance runner whose collegiate career helped define a successful era for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s cross-country program. A key contributor to the Crimson Hawks, Dan combined toughness, consistency, and competitive drive to compete at the highest collegiate level. Part of a nationally competitive IUP squad, Dan helped sustain the program’s tradition of excellence. His legacy remains etched in the school’s record books and its proud cross-country history.
ROBERT PIKELIS
Robert Pikelis is a Pittsburgh-based distance runner whose training reflects the grit and resilience of the city he calls home. Shaped by Pittsburgh’s hills, bridges, and ever-changing weather, Bob has built his running identity around consistency, durability, and steady progression. Equally drawn to road racing and longer endurance efforts, he thrives on structured training, early morning miles, and the discipline of incremental improvement. For Bob, running is a daily practice of self-improvement, showing up, putting in the work, and trusting the process. Rooted in Pittsburgh’s hardworking culture, he embodies the spirit of embracing the long road forward.
ED STACK
Ed Stack is the visionary leader behind DICK'S Sporting Goods and a driving force in supporting athletic culture across the Pittsburgh region. As Executive Chairman, he grew his family’s small business into a national retailer with more than 850 stores, while keeping a strong commitment to community impact through sport. Under his leadership, DICK’S became title sponsor of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon in partnership with P3R, helping transform the event into one of the region’s premier running celebrations. His belief in the power of sports to change lives continues to strengthen youth programs, charitable initiatives, and the broader running community throughout western Pennsylvania.
