Pet Walk 101

Everything you need to know to have an amazing experience at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pet Walk!

Before the Walk:

  • Getting Your Gear: You can pick up your participant bib and shirt at the Pittsburgh Live Well Expo presented by GNC on Friday, May 2 (click here for hours!).

  • While we strongly suggest you pick up your race gear on Friday, you have the option to pick up your bib and shirt on race morning from 10-11:45 AM at the Humane Animal Rescue tent in Point State Park.

On Walk Day:

  • Parking: Where you park is really up to you! For Saturday's events, most participants park on the North Shore — we recommend you use the ParkPGH app for real-time capacity for Pittsburgh's garages.

    • West General Robinson Street Garage opens at 5:30 AM

    • Gold Lots 1 & 2 open at 6 AM.

    • Please note that ALCO lots are cashless!

    • Be sure to review the road closure information so you can avoid any unnecessary delays!

  • Gear Check: There is no gear check for the Pet Walk! Please plan accordingly!

  • The Pittsburgh Pet Walk will begin at noon in Point State Park!
